Wednesday, August 31: Ljubljana to London

 I met with the tour group before they left on a river cruise through the city.  By a wonderful coincidence there were some people from Albania in the lobby.  Those of us who had been there were able to tell him how much we’d enjoyed our visit.  

After a farewell walk through the Old Town I got a taxi to the airport.  

Proper English tea served on the flight.  Well, that stuff in the glass may not have been tea.  :-)

The flight to London was uneventful but I had a terrible time finding my way out of Heathrow.   The signage is ambiguous and even when there are directions they may indicate the way to a destination half a mile ahead.  I finally found a pedestrian bridge to my hotel from T2, checked in and then backtracked to the area of Heathrow T3 where I knew they had a Marks and Spencer Simply Food store and picked up provisions for dinner.
